Financial Specialist – Freelancer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Review, correct, and finalize financial records within the CPJ system.

• Analyze contracts, invoices, receipts, and financial entries.

• Detect discrepancies and suggest enhancements for the financial module's usage.

• Cleanse and verify the accuracy of financial data.

• Assess and organize the Chart of Accounts and Cost Centers.

• Tailor the CPJ financial module to meet client specifications.

• Set up billing, collection, and fee management guidelines.

• Assist in defining and executing financial workflows in the system.

• Perform testing and validate the configurations that have been completed.

• Develop operating procedures and supporting documentation for users.

• Aid in CPJ implementation, migration, and reconfiguration tasks.

• Contribute to the validation of migrated data to ensure the integrity of financial information.

• Help in the creation of financial indicators, reports, and management controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in progress or completed in Accounting, Business Administration, Financial Management, or a related discipline.

• Practical experience with the CPJ financial module.

• Comprehensive understanding of CPJ’s financial framework, including the Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers, payment methods, contracts, expense and revenue classifications, billing rules, billable activities, current accounts, invoices, and access permissions/roles.

• Experience in configuring, reviewing, and cleansing financial databases.

• Familiarity with law firm financial processes, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, accruals, financial reconciliation, and month-end closing.

• Capability to identify master data and financial discrepancies impacting controls and performance indicators.

• Strong documentation skills and ability to guide users effectively.

• Proactive, hands-on, organized, reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working with systems.

• Availability to start immediately.
