This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support the preparation of SEC filings and press releases, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K documentation.
• Analyze and report on key financial metrics, providing comprehensive discussions and analyses of business components and drivers.
• Assist in iXBRL tagging processes.
• Prepare tie-outs for SEC filings, financial statement footnotes, MD&A, and press releases alongside supporting schedules.
• Generate quarterly cash flow statements.
• Prepare entries associated with equity transactions and stock-based compensation.
• Calculate EPS and Adjusted EPS figures.
• Aid in fulfilling audit deliverables.
• Assist in researching accounting guidance.
• Coordinate financial reporting outputs with the U.K. accounting team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Corporate and Insurance Accounting, FP&A, internal audit, and external audit teams.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in public accounting, and/or relevant industry or SEC reporting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in financial data review.
• Knowledge of business operations, objectives, and metrics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• CPA designation or CPA candidate status is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage daily tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented, capable of multi-tasking, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
• Prior SEC reporting experience is preferred.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and dedication to continuous improvement.
