Financial Reporting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +11 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation and analysis of both internal and external reports, which include SEC, FDIC, Federal Reserve, FHLB, management, board, ad hoc, investor, and other financial presentations.

• Help in developing and maintaining reports utilizing Prologue, Cognos Business Intelligence, Jack Henry Xperience, and Workiva (Wdesk and Wdata).

• Design and improve automated processes for internal and external reporting to enhance efficiency and performance.

• Provide support to Finance Staff, Senior Management, and Cost Center Managers through detailed financial reporting analysis.

• Aid in external audits, reviews, and various examinations.

• Execute special projects related to financial reporting as required.

• Prepare presentations for the board, financial analyses, industry/peer group comparisons, evaluations of new business opportunities, acquisition analyses, and other projects for senior management.

• Offer insights and support to facilitate effective business decision-making and strategies for improving financial performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study.

• Preferably, experience in financial reporting.

• Banking experience is also preferred.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and handle various tasks simultaneously.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

• Ability to comprehend and analyze data relationships.

• Skills in data analysis, leadership, and presentation.

• Highly organized, motivated, and self-driven.

• Candidates must reside in West Virginia, Virginia, Texas, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington D.C., New York, New Jersey, Arizona, North Carolina, Georgia, or South Dakota.
