Financial Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Supervise and manage bookkeeping personnel while overseeing the allocation of responsibilities.

• Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable across various client accounts.

• Conduct month-end closing procedures, which include posting transactions and making necessary adjusting journal entries.

• Prepare financial statements for assessment.

• Utilize Ramp and QuickBooks Online for daily accounting tasks.

• Provide financial data to support forecasting efforts.

• Assist the fractional CFO with financial modeling in Excel and inputting data.

• Review and amend financial documents prior to CFO evaluation.

• Engage in due diligence for fundraising or acquisition opportunities.

• Aid in the preparation for audits.

• Maintain communication with team members and clients.

• Collaborate effectively while also being able to work independently.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2–5 years of experience in a Controller role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.

• Comprehensive understanding of GAAP and management of accounting processes.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is mandatory.

• Experience with Ramp is preferred but not essential.

• Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.

• Background in financial reporting, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows.

• Willingness and capacity to work during US business hours.

• Experience with due diligence or auditing processes is advantageous.

• Resume must be presented in English.
