Finance Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage all finance functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

• Lead accounting processes, encompassing accounts payable/receivable, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.

• Conduct monthly book closures, reconciliations, and variance analyses.

• Prepare and review financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

• Ensure timely and precise tax filings, compliance with financial regulations, and handling of statutory audits.

• Support financial due diligence for acquisitions and facilitate the integration of new businesses.

• Develop and implement financial strategies aimed at optimizing cash flow, managing costs, and enhancing profitability.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and strengthen internal controls.

• Coordinate and provide analyses that support decision-making for senior leadership.

• Manage, coach, and mentor a team of finance professionals.

• Offer financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

• Maintain and enhance financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• CA certification is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial management, ideally within a SaaS/software or technology company.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.

• Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a high-paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
