Financial Clearance Associate II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary support for the Patient Connection Center at Piedmont Healthcare.

• Assess accounts for intricate hospital services and specialized procedures, including surgeries, to ensure all details are complete prior to patient arrival.

• Confirm patient insurance and validate benefits.

• Identify authorization requirements.

• Initiate and secure pre-certification or authorization.

• Generate estimates to ascertain pre-service patient liability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Revenue Cycle or related clerical accounting/finance roles, with at least 1 year specifically in Healthcare Revenue Cycle is required.

• Preferred: 4 years of relevant healthcare Revenue Cycle experience.

• Prior experience with Epic is preferred.

• Certification from the Healthcare Financial Management Association is preferred.

• Certification as a Revenue Cycle Representative is preferred.

• No specific licenses or certifications are necessary.
