Financial Business Analyst, Power BI, Data Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Burundi.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary IT liaison for assigned Finance reporting areas.

• Work collaboratively with Finance stakeholders on P&L reporting, balance sheet reporting, cost management, budgeting, forecasting, management accounting, and operational finance reporting.

• Collect, analyze, document, and critically assess business requirements.

• Oversee reports, dashboards, KPIs, datasets, and analytics products throughout their entire lifecycle.

• Identify source systems and data owners; assess data structures and establish integration requirements.

• Design scalable reporting solutions that adhere to architectural standards and governance protocols.

• Develop semantic models, business calculations, KPIs, and reusable datasets.

• Construct ETL/ELT components, Fabric artifacts, Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.

• Create prototypes and MVPs to verify business value.

• Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, user acceptance testing, and production readiness.

• Maintain business requirements, solution documentation, data mappings, KPI definitions, and operational procedures.

• Oversee enhancements, change requests, and report optimization initiatives.

• Engage with Purchasing, Finance, IT, external partners, and corporate and regional business and IT teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4-7 years of experience in BI, analytics, finance systems, or business analysis roles.

• Significant experience in combining business analysis with solution development duties.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, DAX, and data modeling.

• Strong understanding of finance and controlling processes.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX2012, D365 Finance & Operations, or similar ERP solutions.

• Ability to effectively communicate with finance business users and technical teams.

• Experience in managing reporting products from start to finish.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in English communication.
