This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Assess and track the creditworthiness of clients by scrutinizing financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Income Statement (P&L), Cash Flow, and credit history.
• Conduct financial analysis employing key indicators (liquidity, leverage, profitability) to establish credit limits and aid in decision-making.
• Examine economic conditions, market trends, and cash flow forecasts to evaluate potential risks and business opportunities.
• Manage credit risk by estimating default probabilities, providing credit recommendations, classifying portfolios, and overseeing asset quality.
• Review and authorize credit applications, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Oversee overdue accounts, pursue payments, and actively manage the collections process, including negotiations and recovery strategies.
• Assist with contract modifications and suggest guarantees to minimize financial risks.
• Prepare and sustain financial and operational reports, including KPIs such as DSO, aging, overdue balances, and provisions.
• Aid in audits, due diligence procedures, and documentation requirements related to credit and collections operations.
• Collaborate across departments with Sales, Legal, and Finance teams to synchronize credit terms, resolve disputes, and enhance risk management practices.
• Execute operational tasks such as consulting credit bureaus (e.g., Serasa, SPC), reconciling accounts, and keeping financial records updated.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of credit processes, controls, and reporting standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years of experience in credit analysis, collections, or related financial sectors, ideally with corporate clients (B2B/PJ).
• Comprehensive understanding of financial analysis, including ratios, credit risk evaluation, and cash flow assessment.
• Proficient in English (B2/C1), with the capability to communicate effectively in international settings, including meetings and reports.
• Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, financial analysis, scenario modeling).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Totvs, Protheus, or similar).
• Familiarity with credit bureaus, scoring tools, and financial risk management systems.
• Awareness of regulatory requirements (e.g., Central Bank guidelines, KYC/AML policies).
• Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and capacity to manage high volumes of information.
• Proactive attitude, robust prioritization skills, and ability to navigate competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, with the aptitude to interact effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
