Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the month-end closing process, which includes reconciling project costs, accruals, and work-in-progress (WIP) balances to ensure precise financial reporting.

• Recognize revenue through percentage-of-completion or milestone billing methodologies.

• Assess project budgets against actual performance and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with project managers.

• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and project profitability reports while adhering to established closing timelines.

• Work closely with operations and finance teams to guarantee a timely close and adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.

• Assist in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making throughout the organization.

• Collaborate with business leaders to deliver actionable financial insights, enhance cost optimization, and drive overall business performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, or a similar finance role.

• Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting.

• Proficient in SAP, ERP systems, OneStream, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering abilities.

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.

• IFRS experience is essential.

• Background in manufacturing, technology, or industrial sectors is preferred.

• Familiarity with financial consolidation and performance management tools.

• Proven experience in providing strategic financial insights to executive leadership.

• CPA, CMA, CFA, or MBA qualifications are preferred.
