Enterprise Business Services Specialist – Finance Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Act as a technology partner for the Finance Corporate Function.

• Assist with operational priorities and facilitate intake, roadmap planning, solution design, and execution of Finance initiatives.

• Serve as the IT–Business integration liaison for Finance by conveying priorities, releases, updates, and issues.

• Oversee functional and UAT testing for Finance releases, including planning, script execution, and defect management.

• Act as an escalation point for Finance application issues and ensure timely resolutions.

• Collaborate with Finance intake leads to gather, refine, and prioritize regulatory and functional requirements.

• Contribute to updates for the Finance section of the IT Enterprise Transformation Roadmap.

• Spearhead planning for significant system changes and implementations.

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Delivery Leads on solution planning and execution.

• Define MVP scope, inform release planning, and influence product direction for Finance-related initiatives.

• Utilize Finance process knowledge to aid in solution design.

• Advocate for simplified, agile methodologies that enhance Finance delivery efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.

• 3-5 years of experience in business requirements analysis, business process design and workflow optimization, agile methodologies and ceremonies, stakeholder management and communication, documentation and configuration management, solution design and functional architecture, as well as UAT and functional testing.

• Ability to translate complex Finance requirements into clear specifications and acceptance criteria.

• Proficient in mapping and optimizing Finance workflows.

• Competent in creating user stories and leading backlog refinement, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.

• Skilled in facilitating intake discussions, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.

• Experienced in developing requirement documents, functional specifications, and configuration support materials.

• Capable of shaping solution direction utilizing Finance operations and technology patterns.

• Proficient in planning and executing UAT cycles, managing defects, and validating release readiness.

• Work authorization in the US is required without current or future visa sponsorship.
