Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Manage the operation of NetSuite and the integration of third-party file uploads into BigQuery.

• Expand data loading capabilities to include new sources by utilizing established methodologies.

• Oversee schema modifications and address failed loads, identifying and resolving underlying issues.

• Execute the retailer door-sales synchronization process utilizing Excel/VBA, Dropbox, Google Sheets, and Apps Script.

• Reconcile door counts and probe into source-file discrepancies.

• Update monthly financial forecasts and ensure accurate backend reporting.

• Generate budget-versus-actual reports categorized by GL account, department, and channel.

• Prepare initial variance commentary.

• Maintain dispatch logic for transaction types and manage Description Aliases.

• Secure monthly and quarterly forecasts.

• Create clinic KPI reports and sustain Boulevard service-category mappings.

• Conduct shipping-file audits and implement controls for identified gaps.

• Classify job tickets, identify duplicate orders and quantity discrepancies, while also managing profitability models.

• Calculate and reconcile field and corporate bonus pools, including caps, gates, and payout percentages.

• Manage sales lead/customer mappings and ensure reconciliation against GRTs.

• Update, maintain, and archive brand pricing schedules for SKUs.

• Oversee VAT, tariff, and FX considerations for international pricing scenarios.

• Analyze new market and SKU scenarios, validating landed-cost margins.

• Own and manage master data for customers, vendors, employees, channels, sub-channels, and GL.

• Maintain the internal reporting portal's resource directory and associated links.

• Report directly to the FP&A Manager, client manager, and Big Ideas supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• CPA, CMA, or CFA track is advantageous.

• A minimum of 4–5+ years of demonstrable corporate experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or corporate finance.

• Experience in supporting omnichannel consumer products, retail, or rapidly scaling DTC/e-commerce brands.

• Preferred 4+ years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, business analytics, or finance shared services.

• Proficiency in intermediate SQL, including joins, CTEs, aggregation, and window functions.

• Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Excel, including array formulas, QUERY, INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and Power Query or equivalent tools.

• Strong VBA skills; capable of reading, debugging, and enhancing macro-driven calculation workbooks.

• Willingness to learn new languages or tools; experience with Google Apps Script and JavaScript will be required on the job.

• Ability to independently read a P&L and comprehend debits and credits, accruals, gross-to-net revenue, COGS, and gross margin.

• Proficient English communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Capability to accurately document processes for seamless execution.

• Comfortable inquiring and escalating issues as necessary.

• Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to initiate automation.

• Dependable attendance record.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with NetSuite.

• Experience in NetSuite ERP extractions, BigQuery file uploads, schema monitoring, and third-party data pipelines.

• Experience in managing chart of accounts groupings, customer/vendor master tables, and product SKU hierarchies.

• Highly organized, self-directed, detail-oriented team player.

• Proactive problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication abilities with US-based executive personnel.

• Legally eligible to work as a remote freelancer or contractor in the Philippines.

• Natural-born Filipino citizen or foreigner possessing a Philippine work visa or permit.

• Must own a computer or laptop capable of fulfilling work requirements.

• Access to a fast, reliable home internet connection with speeds of at least 200–300 Mbps.

• A quiet, distraction-free home work environment.

• Willingness to work graveyard shifts or adapt to changing US schedules.

• Availability to work from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST, Monday–Friday.

• Overtime must receive prior approval.

• Preferred experience in DTC, retail, or CPG beauty, wellness, and clinic services.

• Preferred background as a freelancer or experience with US clients.

• Familiarity with Boulevard or similar service-booking platforms is preferred.

• Preferred skills in AI tools and prompting.
