Finance Intern – Corporate Accounting, Tax

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Assist in the month-end closing procedure, which involves preparing journal entries and performing bank reconciliations.

• Help in compiling documentation for audits and other compliance requirements.

• Work collaboratively with team members on specialized accounting and tax research initiatives.

• Manage daily bank transactions.

• Provide support for US state tax filings.

• Assist with various ad hoc projects from different internal teams.

• Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial statements and streamline processes.

• Currently enrolled in an educational program (such as college, university, or bootcamp).

• Confidence: Willingness to embrace new challenges and see them through to completion.

• Humility: Not hesitant to ask questions and acknowledge mistakes, provided learning occurs from them.

• Curiosity: Actively seeking improved methodologies.

• Teamwork: Commitment to working together and achieving success as a team.

• Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.

• Strong interest in technology and software tools.

• Ability to learn independently and adapt quickly to new environments.

• Must reside in and have legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada.

• Must already possess work authorization; no sponsorship, relocation assistance, or visa transfer provided.

• Successful candidates must undergo a background check.
