Finance Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist with the processes related to accounts payable, such as handling invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations.

• Supervise activities related to accounts receivable, including billing, collections, and customer account reconciliations.

• Aid in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Contribute to financial audits by preparing necessary documentation, coordinating with auditors, and addressing any audit findings or recommendations.

• Provide assistance with financial and tax due diligence matters.

• Deliver ad hoc financial support and analysis for strategic initiatives and decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Preference will be given to candidates pursuing ACCA certification.

• 1-6+ months of experience in finance or accounting positions, particularly in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial operations.

• Proficiency in Zoho Books / QuickBooks Accounting software and Google Workspace, which includes Google Sheets, Docs, and Presentations.

• Strong grasp of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.

• Experience in conducting financial audits and due diligence processes, with the capability to manage multiple projects concurrently is desirable.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to collaborate across departments and confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels.
