Finance Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise and manage all financial functions to ensure precision, compliance, and operational efficiency.

• Direct accounting operations, encompassing accounts payable/receivable, general ledger oversight, and preparation of financial statements.

• Execute monthly book closures, reconciliations, and variance assessments.

• Compile and review financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

• Guarantee timely and precise tax submissions, adherence to financial regulations, and conduction of statutory audits.

• Assist in financial due diligence for acquisitions and facilitate the integration of new businesses.

• Formulate and implement financial strategies aimed at enhancing cash flow, cost control, and profitability.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to optimize financial processes and strengthen internal controls.

• Organize and provide analyses that support senior leadership in decision-making.

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of finance professionals.

• Deliver financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

• Maintain and enhance financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• CA certification is mandatory.

• More than 3 years of relevant experience in financial management, ideally within a software/SaaS or technology organization.

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory frameworks.

• Proficient in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.

• Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate across teams and present financial information to non-financial audiences.
