This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee Accounts Receivable functions, which include invoicing, processing manual payments, generating aging reports, and reconciling customer accounts.

• Record standard journal entries and bank transactions.

• Input accounts payable invoices and credit card transactions.

• Execute month-end closings and perform account reconciliations.

• Examine, rectify, and adjust any discrepancies in accounting records.

• Perform bank reconciliations.

• Collaborate with and provide support to fellow team members.

• Supervise accounting operations while ensuring precise financial recordkeeping.

• Assist in upholding internal controls and budgeting systems.

• Help guarantee adherence to GAAP and enhance the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 1–2 years of experience in accrual-based accounting, encompassing AR, journal entries, month-end closing, and bank reconciliations.

• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.

• Capability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.

• Proficient in planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects and deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail with outstanding proofreading and editing skills.

• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

• Highly self-motivated, proactive, and reliable.

• Consistent and dependable attendance is crucial.

• Completion of a full application, screening questions, and a brief pre-employment assessment is required.

• Authorization to work in the country where the position is located is mandatory.

• Willingness to undergo a Level II background and/or security investigation with fingerprinting is necessary.

• Willingness to participate in drug screening is required.
