Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Request, receive, and meticulously verify contractor invoices against hours worked, approved rates, and deliverable milestones prior to approving payments.

• Manage, implement, and follow up on payments for contractors and employees using international payment platforms such as Deel, Wise, Payoneer, or traditional banking methods.

• Draft, issue, monitor, and store independent contractor agreements, statements of work (SOWs), service contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and employee contracts.

• Keep records of operational expenses, vendor invoices, contractor fees, and payment statuses in internal tools and financial tracking spreadsheets.

• Assist in monitoring monthly cash flow, updating basic financial models, and identifying variances between Budget and Actuals.

• Contribute to financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and cash flow analysis.

• Convert financial data into actionable insights for leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A).

• Proficient in building and maintaining financial models using Excel or Google Sheets.

• Demonstrated success in cash flow management, budgeting, and variance analysis.

• Capability to thrive in a part-time setup with strong self-management and accountability.

• Advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

• Must be based in LATAM.

• Preferred: Experience in IT services, software development agencies, or SaaS business models.

• Preferred: Familiarity with financial tools and ERPs (e.g., Quickbooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar).

• Preferred: Basic understanding of cross-border billing and USD transactions within LATAM.
