
Field Support Technician – Temporary, 6-Month Assignment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute thorough room-by-room walkthroughs to verify device placement and quantities utilizing Inspiren's mapping and walkthrough tools.
• Conduct scans of the wireless network (Wi-Fi).
• Record room names, device quantities, and placement information.
• Identify exceptions, access complications, or uncertainties regarding placement for the Implementation Manager.
• Assist with the mounting, cable organization, and power verification for AUGi, Sense, Help Button, Gateway, and Link devices.
• Carry out quality assurance inspections on installed devices.
• Offer field support for installed devices, including troubleshooting, minor modifications, and device swaps or replacements.
• Keep detailed installation/service logs that track serviced devices, their locations, and any exceptions.
• Adhere to facility cleanliness and control protocols.
• Update spreadsheets and tracking systems with the status of installations and services.
• Perform ongoing maintenance for individual devices or entire installed communities.
• Maintain professional communication with community staff, leadership, and residents; escalate issues when necessary.
• Comply with resident privacy, dignity, and interaction guidelines.
• Collaborate with the onsite or remote Implementation Manager via Slack/text at smaller or remote-supported locations.
• Provide end-of-day summaries and promptly escalate critical obstacles.
• Submit expense reports promptly.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Experience in installation and device maintenance is required.
• Must have reliable availability for full-week travel (2–3 sites per week).
• Comfortable working in senior living or healthcare-adjacent environments.
• Strong communication skills for interactions with clients and residents.
• Ability to succeed in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in managing customer and resident experiences with professionalism and empathy.
• High level of personal integrity and accountability.
• Capability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours each day.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs comfortably.
• Proficient in climbing up and down a ladder repeatedly throughout the day.
• Ability to rearrange furniture as necessary for installation or service access.
• Capability to get on and off the floor for servicing low-mounted devices.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under physical and situational pressures.
