Field Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Carry out repairs and installations independently, which includes remote repairs and Field Change Orders.

• Evaluate faults across various systems and create solutions that take into account clinical, technical, and commercial factors.

• Maintain customer satisfaction through effective communication and proactive management of escalations.

• Collaborate closely with both internal and external partners while offering guidance to colleagues.

• Provide technical training and handovers during the installation processes.

• Manage small projects, including relocations and upgrades.

• Independently address IT and network challenges.

• Assist Sales and Project Management teams with technical inquiries.

• Deliver customer support as part of maintenance services.

• Ensure all documentation is completed following Philips quality standards.

• Report any safety-related issues and adhere to relevant protocols.

• Serve as a medical device advisor as per Section 31 of the German Medical Devices Act (MPG) and liaise with regulatory authorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in field service, along with a solid understanding of medical technology and basic medical knowledge.

• Exceptional communication skills, both internal and external, coupled with confidence, reliability, and professionalism.

• Skills in customer management, assertiveness, and professional escalation management.

• Ability to collaborate across functions and demonstrate strong teamwork skills.

• High adaptability, with a willingness to travel extensively throughout the region, including over 70% travel time, weekend work, and 24/7 on-call duties.

• Proficient IT and networking skills, good command of MS Office, and capable technical documentation abilities.

• Experience in a radiology setting and certified knowledge in radiation protection.
