Field Services Technician III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute field and workshop tasks as necessary.

• Offer on-site technical guidance, practical service, and leadership during the installation, startup, commissioning, and maintenance of customer-owned utility and industrial facilities.

• Develop job planning documents that outline outage scope by utilizing engineering instructions, drawings, and process guidelines.

• Engage with management and colleagues to incorporate customers' Critical to Quality requirements in job planning and execution.

• Supervise skilled labor while performing tasks at customer locations.

• Diagnose and conduct routine maintenance checks for power transformers, switchgear, protection relays, control systems, turbines, motors, and generators.

• Address electromechanical operations and maintenance issues in the Power Delivery sector.

• Carry out administrative duties, including drafting technical reports, ordering materials, obtaining quotes, preparing job status and customer reports, timesheets, and expense reports.

• Utilize sound judgment in managing company costs and expenditures.

• Uphold a strong safety mindset and ensure that completed work adheres to technical specifications within TGE safety standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED.

• Adequately qualified Electrical Fitter with demonstrated HV experience, or Electrical Technician / Technologist, or Electrician with proven HV experience.

• Knowledge of test equipment and testing protocols.

• Proficient in computer usage.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Excellent skills in speaking, reading, and writing English.

• Verified experience in leading a field service team.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Flexibility is essential.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Access.

• Basic Workplace First Aid certification.

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, as required.
