This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Execute field and workshop tasks as necessary.
β’ Offer on-site technical guidance, practical service, and leadership during the installation, startup, commissioning, and maintenance of customer-owned utility and industrial facilities.
β’ Develop job planning documents that outline outage scope by utilizing engineering instructions, drawings, and process guidelines.
β’ Engage with management and colleagues to incorporate customers' Critical to Quality requirements in job planning and execution.
β’ Supervise skilled labor while performing tasks at customer locations.
β’ Diagnose and conduct routine maintenance checks for power transformers, switchgear, protection relays, control systems, turbines, motors, and generators.
β’ Address electromechanical operations and maintenance issues in the Power Delivery sector.
β’ Carry out administrative duties, including drafting technical reports, ordering materials, obtaining quotes, preparing job status and customer reports, timesheets, and expense reports.
β’ Utilize sound judgment in managing company costs and expenditures.
β’ Uphold a strong safety mindset and ensure that completed work adheres to technical specifications within TGE safety standards.
β’ High School Diploma / GED.
β’ Adequately qualified Electrical Fitter with demonstrated HV experience, or Electrical Technician / Technologist, or Electrician with proven HV experience.
β’ Knowledge of test equipment and testing protocols.
β’ Proficient in computer usage.
β’ Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
β’ Excellent skills in speaking, reading, and writing English.
β’ Verified experience in leading a field service team.
β’ Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
β’ Willingness to travel as needed.
β’ Flexibility is essential.
β’ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Access.
β’ Basic Workplace First Aid certification.
β’ Legally eligible to work in the United States.
β’ Successful completion of a drug screening, as required.
