This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Conduct field and workshop tasks as necessary.
β’ Offer on-site technical guidance, hands-on service, and leadership during the installation, startup, commissioning, and maintenance of utility and industrial facilities owned by customers.
β’ Develop job planning documents that outline outage scope through engineering instructions, drawings, and process guidelines.
β’ Engage with Management and Colleagues by utilizing customers' CTQ (Critical to Quality) requirements in job planning and execution.
β’ Lead skilled labor performing tasks on customer sites.
β’ Diagnose and execute routine maintenance checks for power transformers, switchgear, protection relays, control systems, turbines, motors, and generators.
β’ Resolve electromechanical operations and maintenance issues in the Power Delivery sector.
β’ Handle administrative tasks, such as drafting technical reports, ordering supplies, obtaining quotations, preparing job status and customer reports, and completing time and expense records.
β’ Exercise sound judgment in managing Company costs and expenditures.
β’ Maintain a strong focus on safety and ensure that all work performed adheres to TGE safety standards and technical requirements.
β’ High School Diploma / GED required.
β’ Must be a qualified Electrical Fitter with demonstrated HV experience, or an Electrical Technician / Technologist or Electrician with proven HV experience.
β’ Familiarity with testing equipment and procedures is essential.
β’ Proficient in computer usage.
β’ Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
β’ Strong command of English in speaking, reading, and writing.
β’ Proven track record in leading field service teams.
β’ Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
β’ Willingness to travel is necessary.
β’ Flexibility is required.
β’ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Access.
β’ Basic Workplace First Aid certification.
β’ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
β’ Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
