Field Services Technician – East

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Install, integrate, test, and document enterprise networking, wireless, computing, storage, and data center infrastructure at client locations across North America.

• Install, mount, replace, relocate, and decommission enterprise networking and infrastructure equipment.

• Rack and stack switches, routers, firewalls, servers, storage systems, UPS units, rack PDUs, and other related technologies.

• Install network cabinets, equipment racks, cable management systems, ladder racks, basket trays, conduit, raceways, and cable pathways.

• Pull, route, terminate, label, and test Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber-optic cabling.

• Install single-mode and multimode fiber infrastructure.

• Install rail kits, mounting hardware, cable managers, and supporting rack components.

• Mount and cable networking, computing, storage, and security equipment.

• Install, replace, and mount enterprise wireless access points.

• Certify installed copper cabling and test fiber-optic infrastructure.

• Confirm equipment connectivity, power, and physical installation.

• Conduct visual quality inspections and complete installation checklists.

• Capture installation and completion photographs; document cable identifiers, serial numbers, and asset information.

• Update rack elevations, cable schedules, installation documentation, and as-built documentation.

• Complete daily project reports and status updates.

• Represent Myriad360 in a professional manner during customer interactions.

• Communicate effectively with customers, project teams, engineers, and site contacts.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.

• Complete security awareness training, identify and escalate security risks, and assist in remediation efforts.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Complete the Myriad360 White Glove Academy within the first 30 days of employment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in installing enterprise network, data center, or IT infrastructure.

• Familiarity with structured copper and fiber-optic cabling.

• Experience in mounting wireless access points and enterprise network equipment.

• Ability to interpret floor plans, rack elevations, cable schedules, and installation drawings.

• Basic understanding of enterprise networking and infrastructure hardware.

• Proficiency in safely using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts.

• Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays and scheduled maintenance windows.

• Capacity to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.

• Ability to work safely on ladders, lifts, and active customer job sites.

• Must reside in the United States.

• BICSI Installer or Technician certification is preferred.

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

• Experience with Fluke cable certification equipment is preferred.

• Preferred experience in fiber termination, splicing, and testing.

• Familiarity with installing technologies from Cisco, Juniper, HPE Aruba, Palo Alto Networks, Dell, HPE, or similar enterprises is preferred.

• Experience in enterprise data centers, colocation facilities, warehouses, or technology deployment environments is preferred.

• Must successfully pass both written and hands-on assessments for the White Glove Academy certification before representing Myriad360 independently during customer engagements.
