This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and assist in site surveys, site preparation, and activities related to system installation.

• Implement and support transitions of VCS systems from legacy voice platforms to advanced systems.

• Manage the decommissioning process for outdated voice communication systems.

• Execute independent system testing and validation to ensure compliance with power installation, cabling integrity, standards, and alignment with equipment and site specifications.

• Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for VCS and related telecom/IT infrastructure.

• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and rectify issues related to voice, network, and hardware.

• Assist with preventive maintenance and conduct system health checks.

• Offer on-site customer support and provide end-user orientation and training as necessary.

• Keep precise technical documentation, service reports, and cutover records.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, site security measures, and operational standards.

• Collaborate with engineers, program teams, and other field technicians during deployment activities.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of experience with a BS/BA; 3 years with an MS/MA; 0 years with a PhD; 7 years with an AS; 9 years in lieu of a degree.

• Must be a US Citizen with the capability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.

• Hands-on experience with Voice Communication Switch (VCS) systems or comparable mission-critical voice platforms.

• Experience in supporting system cutovers, migrations, or technology refresh initiatives.

• Proficient knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure.

• Familiarity with VoIP technologies.

• Understanding of cabling standards and power validation processes.

• Knowledgeable about networked voice systems.

• Strong skills in troubleshooting and root-cause diagnostics.

• Experience with test equipment and diagnostic tools in field settings.

• Familiarity with operational environments that demand high uptime and reliability.

• Excellent technical problem-solving abilities.

• Strong customer service and communication capabilities.

• Ability to work independently in remote field locations.

• Strong discipline in documentation and reporting.

• High attention to detail and commitment to procedures.

• Effective time management and capability to meet deployment deadlines.

• Team-oriented attitude with the ability to collaborate across technical areas.

• Willingness to travel up to 95%.
