This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee project costing, planning, coordination, and execution for Nuclear Field Services projects.
• Assist in the development of proposals and the negotiation of contracts.
• Initiate project openings in the ERP system.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for installation and maintenance services during the R process.
• Participate in pre-proposal and negotiation meetings.
• Create scope, schedules, loadboard, JCE, tooling, quotes, parts, resources, and deliverables.
• Plan job sites and outages prior to mobilization.
• Generate JIS, labor, and specialty service requests.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering, customer interactions, and pre-site work.
• Facilitate Lean Outage Risk and Protectivity workshops.
• Request both internal and external purchase orders.
• Formulate GE OneEHS plans before and during site mobilization.
• Develop outage work-order task plans that incorporate safety requirements, equipment, parts, tooling, specialty services, and resources.
• Manage costs and ongoing estimates until project completion.
• Create and oversee project schedules and payment milestones.
• Provide contingency planning.
• Manage project risks, opportunities, issues, and mitigation strategies.
• Resolve safety, quality, FME, NCR, parts, engineering, controls, and commercial issues during execution.
• Deliver precise management reports for assigned projects.
• Obtain technical and financial project authorization.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee the Scope Change Authorization process.
• Provide project leadership and guidance from conception through delivery.
• Conduct customer feedback reviews.
• Complete field services reports, ETC 127 engineering-change documentation, POR documents, project closeout, BP, lessons learned, and OE summaries.
• Occasionally attend training seminars.
• Promote GE products during customer presentations and events.
• Maintain relationships with customers, peers, Engineering, and global teams.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM or related technical field from an accredited university or college, or 10 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant project management experience in the power generation or industrial manufacturing sector.
• More than 5 years of relevant commercial and negotiation experience.
• Proficient in English.
• Capability to gain and maintain unescorted access to a Nuclear power facility in Canada, Mexico, or the U.S.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% annually, both domestically and internationally.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport.
• Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary.
• Capable of walking up to 5 miles daily.
• Able to climb 3 flights of stairs 3 times a day.
• Ability to climb ladders as needed to access work areas.
• Familiarity with PMP concepts and processes.
• Experience with Steam Power systems in a Nuclear, Fossil, or Gas power plant environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6.
