Field Service Technician – Installation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver hands-on assistance to customers in the field

• Conduct maintenance and repair services onsite

• Provide solutions that go beyond mere repairs and maintenance

• Educate staff on the operation of equipment

• Instruct customers on how to use equipment effectively

• Travel regularly to customer locations, typically on a daily basis

• Utilize power tools on occasion

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or its equivalent

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Required)

• Technical training in the biomedical or electronics sectors (Preferred)

• Proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with Windows-based applications

• Strong organizational abilities

• Effective problem-solving skills

• Outstanding communication skills

• Experience or education in mechanics or technical fields

• Background in electrical work, customer service, military, or software/hardware

• Experience with pneumatics

• Knowledge of HVAC systems

• Ability to perform routine movements such as walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, reaching, and twisting

• Frequently lift, lower, carry, push, or pull weights ranging from 1 to 55 pounds; occasionally lift, lower, carry, push, or pull between 56 to 100 pounds

• Regularly engage in pushing, pulling, grasping, and demonstrate manual dexterity using hands, arms, and shoulders

• Capacity to work in confined spaces

• Frequent travel to customer sites (daily)

• Occasional use of power tools
