This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Travel to customer locations across the continental United States, primarily focusing on the East Coast.
• Conduct repairs on Alma Lasers equipment.
• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
• Offer Level 2 technical troubleshooting support to customers over the phone.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with malfunctioning medical instruments or equipment.
• Repair equipment following the diagnostic process.
• Interpret diagrams and schematics to perform complete board replacements as necessary.
• Test machines post-repair to confirm proper functionality.
• Maintain and complete necessary repair documentation.
• Provide Level 2 support via phone to both customers and internal team members.
• Adhere to company safety and health regulations.
• Carry out low voltage electrical repairs using tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Schedule appointments for preventative maintenance, service calls, and installations.
• Collaborate closely with the Client Relations team to address customer concerns.
• Perform device calibration utilizing designated test equipment like power meters.
• Mentor and assist other field service personnel.
• Create troubleshooting documentation for the Client Relations team.
• Support in mentoring peers and other departments as required.
• Associate's degree in electrical or electronic repair, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Field Service.
• Experience with component-level repair is preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 certification is preferred.
• Proficient in reading diagrams and schematics.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Applications (MS Office, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Positive attitude and approach toward job responsibilities and the Alma team.
• Capacity to retain significant amounts of information.
• Documentation proving eligibility to work in the United States will be required.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
• Willingness and capability to travel 75-90% as required.
• Ability to work in both professional and medical office environments.
• Capability to occasionally sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, along with the ability to adjust focus.
