Field Service Supervisor – Transmission and Distribution

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee field service technicians in accordance with Company policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective achievement of Company and Division goals.

• Clearly communicate job expectations; assess and evaluate job performance; review compensation matters; and provide coaching and training as necessary.

• Authorize and coordinate scheduled activities for field service technicians, including on-call assignments.

• Lead the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives at the division level.

• Direct Field Service delivery and enhance customer experience for designated Key Account clients.

• Manage relationships with suppliers and oversee the service performance of authorized service providers in the area.

• Address service incidents or issues in collaboration with other Company personnel.

• Act as the field service representative for the designated region, which includes reviewing scopes of work, participating in project calls and meetings, and engaging with customers and external partners.

• Collaborate in the development of field service processes and procedures.

• Analyze field service reports and prepare activity reports and analysis.

• Assist with site requirements and needs for scheduled operations.

• Ensure that target metrics related to field service performance are met.

• Maintain inventory items and fixed assets in the designated service area.

• Provide support and assistance to the Field Service Manager as required.

• Promote the objectives and positive, professional image of the Division through interactions with customers and internal departments and divisions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a field service technician and at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role, or equivalent education and experience.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and bills of material.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills necessary for effective interaction with customers, employees, and suppliers.

• High level of computer proficiency, particularly in MS Office applications and MRP/ERP systems.
