Field Service Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Install, commission, service, maintain, and repair metal production analytical devices and DTE solutions at client locations.

• Receive and unpack equipment at customer locations.

• Ensure that installations and service tasks comply with quality, safety, and scheduling standards.

• Configure equipment to align with operational needs.

• Train customer operators on the use of DTE solutions.

• Provide both remote and on-site technical assistance.

• Troubleshoot technical issues in challenging industrial settings.

• Confirm the preparedness of customer sites, including power, utilities, access, lifting, and safety clearances.

• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond within agreed service commitments.

• Offer feedback to Product and Engineering teams to foster continuous improvement.

• Act as a primary point of contact for customers during installation and maintenance processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be located in the United States.

• Should reside within a short driving distance from a major airport.

• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time within the United States.

• Applicants must already possess authorization to work in the United States.

• A valid driver's license and passport are required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in assembly, field service, or technical support roles involving electronic or industrial equipment.

• Familiarity with troubleshooting methodologies for automated control systems and logic.

• Strong analytical skills along with a practical problem-solving approach.

• Ability to work directly with prototypes, including testing, troubleshooting, and product enhancement.

• A strong commitment to safety, reliability, and quality.

• Capable of meeting customer site access requirements, which include safety training, medical or drug screening, and background checks.

• Comfortable working in hot, noisy casthouse environments while wearing personal protective equipment and handling equipment components.

• Experience in metals, foundry, or other heavy industrial settings is advantageous.

• Electrical training, certification, or licensure is a plus.

• Excellent English communication skills; proficiency in additional languages is a benefit.
