Field Service Engineer, Nordics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Execute installation, commissioning, maintenance, and support for Oerlikon's thermal spray coating systems at customer sites throughout the Nordic region

• Travel regularly to customer facilities to resolve technical issues

• Carry out installations and preventive maintenance

• Assist customer support with technical inquiries

• Conduct training sessions for external operators and maintenance technicians

• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of Oerlikon's products

• Educate both internal and external operators as well as maintenance personnel

• Document service, calibration, and maintenance reports

• Develop technical instructions

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience as a field or maintenance technician in the industry

• Willingness to travel (up to 80% of work time)

• Experience with PLC programming and/or robot programming is advantageous

• Solid knowledge of mechanics and pneumatics

• Proficient in hardware and software installation as well as networking

• Electrical or mechanical education or equivalent work experience

• Strong command of English and Swedish, both spoken and written

• Proficient in MS Office

• Valid driver's license (B category)

• Strong technical skills and a passion for problem-solving

• Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and adaptability

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
