Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) at client locations.

• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and deployment of new machines throughout the UK.

• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical problems.

• Perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.

• Establish strong relationships with customers and site representatives.

• Travel across the region to support clients, occasionally requiring overnight stays.

• Document service activities, machine conditions, and updates using digital systems and tools.

• Provide feedback and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

• Enhance technical expertise while upholding high safety standards.

• Transition to a rota-based shift schedule, including weekend duties starting from October 2027.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong background in electro-mechanical systems, with a desire to learn how to analyze, test, and repair complex machinery.

• A curious and solution-driven mindset, coupled with strong attention to detail.

• A customer-centric approach, with clear and confident communication abilities.

• Ability to work with power tools and hand tools, both independently and as part of a supportive team.

• Willingness to travel and manage your own schedule in a field-based position.

• A valid UK driving license.

• Adhere to TOMRA Safe and LOTO standards.

• Openness to working approved overtime and weekends as necessary.

• Capability to adapt to a rota-based shift pattern, including weekend duties starting from October 2027.
