This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Assist GEV engineers in generating signal lists based on schematics and relevant documents.

• Provide support for engineering and field service tasks related to protection relays, panel modifications, protection logic diagrams, GA/LA, bills of materials, purchasing requests, schematics, cybersecurity architectures, signal lists, cable schedules, control desk drawings, and IEC61850 signal mapping.

• Aid in the preparation of production documents, CT/VT adequacy assessments, and relay setting calculations.

• Support field service operations for substation automation systems, encompassing DCS/SCS, RTU, and cybersecurity measures.

• Assist with technical activities for designated projects, including EHS coordination, follow-up actions, and site tasks.

• Organize and document tests for digital inputs, controls, measurements, interlocks, IEC61850 IEDs, SCADA signals, and SCS functionalities.

• Aid in the installation of SCS systems at locations, including fiber optic layout, panel PC setup, console wiring, installation, and testing procedures.

• Adhere to project timelines to meet milestones as per the schedule.

• Manage workplace EHS concerns and ensure the availability of appropriate PPE for testing and commissioning staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Machine Power, Electrical Power, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Control and Instrumentation, Energy Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electronics, Cybersecurity, or Artificial Intelligence, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Preference will be given to qualified UAE National candidates in accordance with UAE localization policies.

• UAE Nationals with a Family Book are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Good communication skills in both English and Arabic.

• Strong analytical abilities.
