This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Report directly to the Director of Commercial Learning & Development.
• Enhance the knowledge, skills, and abilities of Sales Representatives through field sales training.
• Facilitate field sales training that aligns with the strategic initiatives of Commercial Sales and individual objectives.
• Identify and proactively tackle opportunities to boost the effectiveness of Sales team members.
• Perform analyses to identify performance gaps.
• Develop and implement training programs focused on consultative selling skills, technical skills, onboarding, and professional development.
• Follow up on sales training programs for newly hired employees in the field.
• Execute sales training programs and initiatives while being accountable for assigned tasks.
• Evaluate participant skill and knowledge levels and provide constructive feedback to leadership.
• Support coaching and performance management activities, including assessments during the probationary period.
• Provide ongoing training and development solutions for the Sales organization.
• Participate in training functions, special events, and corporate conferences in the roles of trainer and facilitator.
• Coach and train sales representatives and leaders on specific selling scenarios and skill development needs.
• Collaborate with the internal training team to devise solutions that enhance sales team skills and productivity.
• Work together with content development and design teams.
• Design, evaluate, and update training programs as necessary.
• Ensure that training programs reflect the latest business practices and policies.
• Improve or create training materials and tools as needed.
• Consult with stakeholders to discern strategic and tactical business objectives.
• Conduct needs analyses and suggest development solutions accompanied by a cost-benefit analysis.
• Coordinate with internal partners regarding logistics for training programs.
• Maintain communication with all levels regarding training initiatives.
• Experience in the medical distribution and supplies sector is preferred.
• Expertise in sales training and development.
• Capability to conduct performance gap analyses and needs assessments.
• Proficiency in developing and delivering sales training programs.
• Ability to evaluate participant skill and knowledge levels and offer feedback to leadership.
• Capability to coach and train sales representatives and leaders in both individual and group settings.
• Skill in consulting with stakeholders to identify development needs and priorities.
• Ability to recommend development solutions supported by a cost-benefit analysis.
• Experience in coordinating training program logistics with internal partners.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
