This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Take ownership and expand ButterflyMX’s relationships with integrators and resellers across all tiers on the West Coast.
• Oversee partner onboarding, deal registration, co-selling support, and conduct quarterly business reviews.
• Implement strategies for whale hunting, activate tier progression, and develop commercial verticals.
• Identify, target, and secure key integrators through project intelligence, installation history, and competitive displacement opportunities.
• Focus on margin and recurring revenue economics.
• Collaborate with Gold and Silver partners to create joint business plans.
• Conduct quarterly QBRs that discuss unit economics, software margin trajectories, and sales pipelines.
• Work alongside internal Account Executives on co-selling initiatives and respect deal registrations.
• Keep accurate records of partner engagement, pipeline management, and forecasts in Salesforce.
• Travel to partner offices, job sites, regional trade shows, and industry events as necessary.
• Provide weekly pipeline updates and quarterly territory scorecards to the Director of Channel Sales.
• Minimum of 3 years in a quota-carrying channel sales, partner management, or business development position.
• Preferred experience in security, access control, video surveillance, low-voltage systems, or IT VAR.
• Proven history of developing and nurturing partner relationships from Bronze to strategic tier levels.
• Comfortable engaging with individuals at all levels of a partner organization, from owners to installation technicians to CFOs.
• Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, and standard business software applications.
• Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks amidst competing demands, and meet quarterly milestones.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel about 50% of the time within the territory.
• Existing relationships with integrators in the West Coast region.
• A consultative, relationship-first sales methodology and comfort with multi-quarter partner development cycles.
• Strong CRM discipline, fluency in Salesforce, attention to attribution, and maintaining a clean pipeline.
• Experience in commercial verticals such as smaller offices, retail, mixed-use, or boutique hospitality projects.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
