Field Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• This role involves hands-on execution in-store.

• The majority of your time will be spent on the retail floor — visiting dealers, fostering relationships with store personnel, securing sell-in orders, and ensuring Traeger stands out in your market.

• As a Field Sales Representative, you will be actively engaged each week in cultivating authentic partnerships with our retail accounts, driving sell-in efforts, and enhancing Traeger's visibility on the sales floor.

• Significant field travel is necessary — you will frequently be on the road visiting dealers, which may include overnight stays.

• You are expected to take ownership of the shop floor and the shop employees.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in field sales, territory sales, or retail account management — experience in consumer goods, outdoor/hardlines, or sporting goods is highly preferred.

• Proven ability to drive sell-in: you can enter a store, establish rapport with a buyer or manager, and leave with an order or commitment.

• Comfortable spending most of your workweek in the field — this position is not office-based.

• Strong verbal communication and relationship-building abilities; you should be confident when presenting to store managers, buyers, and shop staff.

• Organized and self-motivated; capable of managing a multi-account territory with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrated history of meeting sales targets.

• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is preferred.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

• A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel overnight regularly within California and Arizona.

• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting over 50 lbs — you will frequently handle grills, equipment, and event materials.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred, but equivalent field sales experience is equally valued — we prioritize your accomplishments over formal credentials.
