This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Act as a trusted advisor to CHROs and senior client leaders, confidently presenting and fostering executive-level relationships.
• Build strong credibility with clients by grasping delivery nuances, assisting teams during escalations, quality issues (E&Os), and negotiating change orders.
• Leverage this credibility and executive presence to expand connections within client organizations, engage with additional leaders, identify challenges, and connect them to Alight’s solutions.
• Oversee renewal and retention strategies, including preparation, presentation, and negotiation, to ensure long-lasting client satisfaction.
• Embrace a client-first, growth-oriented mindset by utilizing existing access and relationships to cross-sell and broaden business opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with internal partners to tackle client challenges, coordinate resources, and deliver ROI/VOI-driven solutions.
• Customize deal approaches to align with client personalities and processes, creating tailored solutions instead of generic strategies.
• Conduct regular performance assessments with clients to share results, address concerns, and identify new growth opportunities.
• Over 5 years of experience in account management, client success, or strategic sales within HR, consulting, brokerage, healthcare, or similar industries.
• Proven success in managing mid-to-large employer accounts (5,000+ employees).
• Professional demeanor with strong executive communication, influencing, and negotiation abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of Alight’s solutions and delivery, with the capacity to navigate client-specific nuances.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with a talent for crafting innovative, client-centric strategies.
• A growth mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities.
• A collaborative approach and a dedication to fostering long-term client partnerships and retention.
• Excellent organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills, with a strong aptitude for managing complex relationships.
• Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills, capable of persuading and collaborating effectively with clients, brokers, team members, and leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve goals and manage a complex portfolio of accounts.
• Proficient in facilitating strategic planning discussions, aiding clients in defining and achieving key objectives.
