Field Representative – Retail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Engage in both in-person and remote sales activities targeting new and existing clientele.

• Execute sales directly or indirectly through a variety of sales channels.

• Evaluate customer requirements and recommend suitable products, services, and solutions.

• Assist in the creation and presentation of sales bids, proposals, and presentations.

• Take part in product demonstrations.

• Identify and reach out to potential customers.

• Establish and nurture relationships to foster future sales and repeat business.

• Promote and drive demand for a range of animal nutrition products.

• Organize daily activities, including customer visits, grand openings, collaborative opportunities, promotions, and Groundswell strategies.

• Achieve key sales objectives within the designated geographical area.

• Monitor market trends and competition, relaying information to senior management.

• Address basic issues under supervision and escalate more complex problems as needed.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

• Must be willing and able to travel up to 80% of the time, including occasional weekends and overnight stays.

• Possession of a valid driver's license in good standing.

• A minimum of two years of relevant work experience is preferred.

• Preferred knowledge or experience in the animal nutrition retail sector.

• Familiarity with Salesforce is preferred.

• Background in equine, livestock, pet, or poultry nutrition is preferred.

• Must reside in the Southwest Texas region.

• Ability to manage customer-facing sales activities and travel throughout the assigned territory.
