Field Representative – Insurance Inspections

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Organize and perform on-site evaluations, producing relevant reports for clients to assess risk levels.

• Assess business operations, types of construction materials, fire protection systems, and safety protocols.

• Formulate suggestions related to safety and loss prevention strategies.

• Represent Verisk and its clients professionally through phone interactions, in-person meetings, and written communication.

• Provide precise and customer-focused reports that uphold data integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.

• Preferred academic backgrounds or experiences may include Risk Management and Insurance, Construction Management, Property and Liability Insurance, and Safety.

• Preferred experience includes insurance loss control, underwriting, claims, commercial building construction, compliance inspections, and roles in fire safety and industrial safety.

• Exceptional customer service along with strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to compose clear and informative reports that meet quality standards.

• High proficiency in technology including laptops, mobile devices, the MS Office suite, and mobile applications.

• Basic aptitude for functional math, including measurements of square feet, perimeters, and percentages.

• Self-driven skills in planning and setting goals.

• Capability to manage, schedule, document, and perform site visits with minimal supervision.

• Ability to observe, record specific details and measurements, gather data, and navigate to various sites effectively.

• Willingness to work in diverse environments and varying weather conditions.

• Physical ability to walk, stand, climb stairs, drive for extended periods to complete job assignments, and occasionally use ladders.

• Professional certifications such as CFPS, CSP, ARM, ALCM, NFPA, or CPCU are beneficial.
