Field Property Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of homeowners' property claims from inception to resolution.

• Verify loss facts, ascertain coverage, evaluate damages, and negotiate settlements within designated authority.

• Oversee the complete claim lifecycle, which includes supplements, Additional Living Expense (ALE) claims, contents, and personal property losses.

• Collaborate closely with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to manage claims with accuracy and efficiency.

• Provide outstanding customer service through clear and timely communication.

• Generate damage estimates for complex first-party homeowner losses.

• Foster relationships with both internal and external customers.

• Understand and interpret regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.

• Negotiate settlements, issue settlement payments, and document actions in intricate files.

• Apply policy interpretations across various company-written policy types.

• Support leadership with both formal and informal training initiatives.

• Suggest enhancements to processes.

• This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be an experienced Field Property Adjuster based in Houston, TX, or surrounding areas.

• Proficiency in Xactimate is required.

• Solid background in claims handling, including supplements, ALE, contents, and full claim ownership.

• Strong organizational capabilities are essential.

• Must have a proactive mindset.

• Excellent customer service skills are a must.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is necessary.

• Experience managing claims in both field and desk environments is highly preferred.

• An active adjuster license or a license qualifying for reciprocity in relevant states is strongly preferred.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.

• A dedicated, distraction-free workspace is required when working from home.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is necessary.
