Field Property Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Provide outstanding claims service from the initial notification of loss until resolution.

• Travel across Burlington, Middlesex, Mercer, and Monmouth Counties to assess property damage.

• Investigate coverage and evaluate losses resulting from weather, water, wind, and various property damages.

• Prepare or review damage estimates utilizing Xactimate.

• Negotiate settlements, process settlement payments, and document actions in intricate files.

• Assess settlement options for compliance with regulations and fair claims practices.

• Assist customers throughout the claims process.

• Manage claims via in-person field inspections and virtual inspection technologies.

• Collaborate with leadership, colleagues, contractors, vendors, and clients.

• Organize personal schedules and daily routes while fulfilling customer commitments and business expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be willing to travel throughout Burlington, Middlesex, Mercer, and Monmouth Counties.

• Comprehensive understanding of all policy types offered by the company.

• Strong foundational skills in estimating for creating or reviewing estimates of complex first-party homeowner losses.

• Experience or knowledge in claims administration, insurance claims, property claims, and Xactimate.

• Relevant active licenses may include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License.

• Individuals with an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and cannot hold outside appointments during employment.

• Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender it when directed by the licensing team.

• Authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

• A dedicated, distraction-free home workspace when working remotely.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
