Field Project Manager I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in managing assigned sales and service initiatives from quotation to execution.

• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within the allocated budget.

• Organize project timelines, equipment deliveries, installation tasks, closeout documents, and warranty responsibilities.

• Supervise and manage on-site construction operations, subcontractors, and service providers during the installation and commissioning phases.

• Track project advancement to ensure adherence to contractual obligations, technical specifications, and quality benchmarks.

• Act as the point of contact between customers, contractors, vendors, and internal MEPPI departments.

• Provide regular updates on project status to customers, management, and stakeholders.

• Manage customer documentation submissions.

• Support project scheduling, implementation, testing, commissioning, and final acceptance processes.

• Assist in creating customer and subcontractor quotations.

• Aid in formulating subcontractor scopes of work for installation and service tasks.

• Evaluate project-related payment requests and assist with contract management.

• Compile project activity reports and engage in project meetings.

• Oversee project closeout and ensure fulfillment of service and warranty commitments.

• Foster positive working relationships while promoting quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline is required.

• Zero (0) to two (2) years of relevant experience in project management, engineering, construction, or technical fields, or a comparable mix of education and experience.

• Fundamental understanding of one or more areas such as Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, battery systems, IT cooling equipment, transmission and distribution substation equipment, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), or solar inverter systems.

• Basic comprehension of project management, construction, and commissioning principles.

• Capability to read and interpret technical diagrams and specifications.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
