Field Operations Associate II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Travel between 200–500 km daily to visit customer locations from the North Battleford, SK region.

• Receive and stock purchased goods at specified customer sites.

• Scan orders as inventory diminishes to ensure proper stock levels are maintained.

• Manage customer inventory sites, making certain that labeling and quantities are accurate.

• Address customer issues swiftly and accurately to foster and enhance customer loyalty.

• Adhere to Grainger and customer facility safety and inspection protocols.

• Achieve established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Carry out machine repair and maintenance tasks at customer locations.

• Plan and implement customer inventory initiatives.

• Gather precise inventory data to aid in KeepStock implementation.

• Support customers with staging, labeling, and organizing their products.

• Execute product relocation and discontinuation processes.

• Fulfill assigned branch duties.

• Generate new orders by identifying further product requirements and spot-buy possibilities.

• Implement onsite service elements of account strategies.

• Collaborate with sales partners to enhance customer experience and boost business.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Over 3 years of experience in customer service or sales (e.g., Retail, telephone, warehouse) environments.

• Self-driven, energetic, and committed to customer service and sales growth.

• Comfortable with regular use of technology.

• Capable of effectively collaborating with both internal and external customers, as well as cross-functional teams.

• Strong decision-making and independent problem-solving abilities.

• Competent in handling various technical and operational challenges.

• Able to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Background checks and drug screenings may be necessary.

• May need to utilize a personal vehicle with valid insurance that meets Grainger’s requirements.

• Must be able to visit customer locations and adhere to relevant health and safety standards, including PPE requirements.

• May be required to undergo customer alcohol and drug screening procedures.
