This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support the Site Manager in the layout of structural, civil, process, and architectural building elements.
• Assist with the procurement of construction materials and the execution of purchase orders.
• Monitor the delivery of materials, subcontractor performance, and manage receiving reports.
• Conduct on-site material placement surveys and provide weekly quantity reports.
• Aid in scheduling construction activities and consolidating activity reports.
• Create bid lists, issue procurement documents, review bids, and evaluate proposals within a timeframe of two to six months.
• Establish and uphold safety and QA/QC standards while conducting safety meetings.
• Review, log, and update shop drawings, submittals, red-line as-built drawings, and construction documents.
• Oversee the job site in the Site Manager's absence.
• Conduct and document QA/QC audits and address any out-of-specification work.
• Assist with daily reports and monthly man-hour reports.
• Enforce Gray’s safety program and act as on-site safety personnel when necessary.
• Investigate safety incidents and compile accurate reports.
• Coordinate with city officials, OSHA, inspectors, and project teams to schedule and document inspections.
• Manage assigned scopes of work and subcontractors.
• Maintain daily progress drawings using Bluebeam, Excel, or Assemble.
• Create meeting agendas and minutes, ensuring timely distribution.
• Escalate customer-requested changes for appropriate contractual action.
• An associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant construction experience, or 4+ years of applicable construction experience in place of a degree.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, tablets, and smartphones.
• A strong work ethic and a proactive, self-motivated attitude.
• Capability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across the United States and occasionally outside the U.S.
• Flexibility to reside anywhere within the USA.
• Must be eligible to work without visa sponsorship; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands and arms, reach, talk, and hear.
• Capability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs.
• Accurate near and distant vision.
• Ability to work in wet, humid, outdoor, noisy, and potentially hazardous environments.
