This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +4 more states.
• Act as Docker’s senior technology advocate, representing customer interests and shaping the technical vision within key enterprise accounts and partnerships.
• Serve as a strategic consultant to CxOs regarding developer productivity, secure software supply chains, and AI-enhanced development.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to expedite large, complex opportunities by establishing technical alignment and instilling executive confidence in Docker’s architecture and roadmap.
• Represent Docker at industry events, executive briefings, and partner engagements.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to gather strategic customer feedback that influences roadmap priorities.
• Forge trusted relationships within key accounts and align technical capabilities with customer objectives.
• Mentor Solutions Engineers and Technical Account Managers.
• Create reusable strategic narratives and technical blueprints for outcome-focused field engagement.
• Collaborate with Marketing on external messaging and thought leadership initiatives.
• Drive revenue growth, enhance customer success, improve brand perception, and influence product/GTM strategy.
• Over 15 years of experience in enterprise technology, including extensive customer-facing or internally facing leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success in engaging executive stakeholders to synchronize technology strategy with business objectives.
• Profound understanding of modern application architectures, containers, and developer platforms.
• Expertise in software supply chain security, developer productivity, and AI/ML infrastructure.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at the C-suite level.
• Strong commercial and business acumen; capable of linking technical decisions to revenue outcomes.
• Experience with or development on Docker, Kubernetes, or container-native platforms is preferred.
• Familiarity with large-scale CI/CD, cloud-native architectures, and multi-cloud deployments is preferred.
• Background in Generative AI/Agentic tooling platforms is a plus.
• Previous experience in pre-sales, solutions architecture, or technical evangelism is preferred.
• Proven thought leadership through conferences, blogs, or contributions to open-source projects is desirable.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the country of application.
• Docker does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
