This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Inspect, assess, and evaluate automotive vehicles involved in incidents.

• Appraise and calculate repair costs for damaged vehicles in the field.

• Decide on repair versus replacement and parts usage.

• Determine the repairability or salvageability of vehicles using industry-standard estimation software.

• Travel to inspection sites to assess vehicles in the field.

• Generate estimates using estimation software.

• Collaborate directly with auto repair shops regarding supplemental repair processing.

• Provide supplemental estimates as needed.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

• Travel as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Licenses as mandated by state regulations.

• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, including at least one (1) year of appraisal experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.

• Comprehensive knowledge of automobiles.

• Capability to understand and use appraisal software.

• Proficient in PC use, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong organizational capabilities.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

• Strong negotiation abilities.

• Ability to function in a team-oriented environment.

• Capacity to meet or surpass Performance Competencies.

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods.

• Must be capable of kneeling, squatting, or bending.

• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, both hot and cold.

• Ability to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel, and reach/work overhead.

• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds.

• Must be able to drive for up to 4 hours daily.

• Continuous use of manual dexterity is required.

• Must possess hearing, vision, and speech capabilities.
