This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Conduct inspections, identify, and assess auto vehicles involved in a loss.

• Evaluate and appraise repair costs for damaged vehicles on-site.

• Make decisions regarding repairs versus replacements and parts usage.

• Assess the repairability or salvageability of vehicles utilizing industry-standard estimatics software.

• Travel to various inspection locations to appraise vehicles in the field.

• Prepare estimates through the use of estimatics software.

• Collaborate directly with auto repair facilities on supplementary repair processing.

• Provide additional estimates as necessary.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

• Travel as needed.


⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Licenses as mandated by state regulations.

• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, which includes at least one (1) year of appraisal experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Comprehensive knowledge of automobiles.

• Proficiency in understanding and using appraisal software.

• Competency in PC usage, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

• Strong negotiation capabilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

• Capacity to meet or surpass Performance Competencies.

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods.

• Ability to kneel, squat, bend, climb, crawl, stoop, and reach/work overhead.

• Must be capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions, whether hot or cold.

• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds.

• Must be able to drive for up to 4 hours per day.

• Must maintain continual use of manual dexterity.

• Adequate hearing, vision, and speaking abilities.
