This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Develop or review detailed damage estimates for both first- and third-party material damage claims.
• Direct claims towards appropriate resolutions.
• Provide training, mentorship, quality control, and technical support on material damage claims.
• Manage auto claims both remotely and in-person across the Asheville, NC area, including Hendersonville, Waynesville, and nearby regions in western North Carolina.
• Assess vehicles and generate precise damage estimates utilizing CCC ONE.
• Collaborate with clients and repair shops to ensure prompt and efficient claim resolution.
• Create or review estimates for material damage losses of varying severities.
• Comprehend policy details across all types of insurance written by the company.
• Negotiate settlements, process payment disbursements, and document actions in complex files across various lines.
• Assess settlement options for regulatory compliance and equitable claims practices.
• Foster relationships with both internal and external clients across multiple lines.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
• Prior experience as an Auto Damage Appraiser, Field Appraiser, Auto Claims Adjuster, or in a body shop, collision repair, or automotive repair facility.
• Proficient in using CCC ONE estimating software.
• Experience performing in-person vehicle inspections and generating accurate repair estimates.
• Strong knowledge of auto repair procedures, vehicle construction, and damage assessment.
• Effective negotiation skills with repair facilities, vendors, and customers.
• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
• Capability to work autonomously and travel within the designated territory.
• Active insurance license holders must cancel all existing appointments before onboarding and must not maintain outside appointments during employment.
• Applicants holding a resident producer license seeking an adjuster position must relinquish that license when directed by the licensing team.
• Authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
