Field Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver onsite assistance for extensive datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI solutions.

• Address intricate hardware and deployment challenges.

• Act as a technical expert on GPU and networking products, providing direct support to sales account managers.

• Collaborate closely with the team to implement AI datacenter solutions.

• Build technical relationships with customer engineers, management, and architects at key accounts.

• Recognize customer architectures and essential product requirements in the enterprise AI sector.

• Offer technical and sales training to both the direct sales team and channel partners.

• Foster robust relationships and communication pathways with internal teams.

• Engage onsite with technical expertise for significant datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI computing systems.

• Collaborate across functions while ensuring a positive experience for external clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).

• Over 8 years of relevant experience in the high-tech electronics industry, specifically in system design or technical customer support roles.

• Comprehensive understanding of servers, storage systems, network devices, and other datacenter hardware.

• Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment without losing concentration.

• Proficiency in multitasking effectively within a complex environment.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong time-management and organizational skills for managing multiple initiatives, priorities, and the integration of new technology and products into highly sophisticated projects.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with management and engineering teams.

• Experience with large-scale deployments of datacenter equipment.

• Networking expertise in TCP/IP, RDMA, RoCE, NICs, Switches, etc.

• Proficient in C/C++ and Python programming.

• Knowledge of Embedded Linux Systems, APIs, and similar embedded operating systems.

• Experience collaborating with OEMs in the industrial, military, and ruggedized computing sectors.
