Family Services Clinical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Church leaders and individuals facing social-emotional challenges.

• Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, policy, and confidentiality standards.

• Provide guidance to Church leaders regarding emotional health requests and requirements.

• Deliver individual and group interventions aimed at enhancing emotional and mental well-being, including support for PTSD and trauma.

• Organize and mentor volunteers who offer local emotional health resources.

• Identify community resources and build partnerships that promote emotional self-reliance.

• Work alongside Welfare and Self-Reliance colleagues to address emerging mental health concerns.

• Keep accurate and timely records of consultations and case documentation.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and implement evidence-based practices that align with Church values.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong dedication to the mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

• Master’s degree in clinical psychology or a related field that qualifies for professional licensure, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or a comparable mix of education and experience.

• Native or advanced proficiency in both Ukrainian and English.

• Capability to articulate complex concepts both verbally and in writing.

• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with local Church leaders, senior executives, beneficiaries, and volunteers.

• Discretion when handling confidential information.

• Creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in multi-project settings.

• Willingness and ability to occasionally travel, work in a mobile office, and be available outside regular office hours, including some weekends.
