Family Law Attorney, Contract-based

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive legal research on intricate family law matters

• Create high-quality motions, memoranda, pleadings, briefs, and various other legal documents

• Aid in legal analysis and case strategy development

• Examine case files and relevant documentation

• Provide essential back-end litigation support to the firm's attorneys

• Produce accurate and well-reasoned work products within set deadlines

• Collaborate with the firm's legal team on family law issues

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

• Preference for California licensure, though not mandatory

• At least 5 years of experience in family law

• Outstanding legal research and persuasive writing abilities

• Significant experience in drafting substantive family law pleadings and motions

• High attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines consistently

• Capability to work independently with little supervision
