Family Law Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to clients on family law issues with compassion and professionalism.

• Create legal strategies customized to meet the individual goals of each client.

• Advocate for clients during mediations, negotiations, hearings, and court proceedings.

• Prepare motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.

• Educate clients and facilitate effective communication to empower them.

• Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff to enhance processes and improve the client experience.

• Deliver high-quality legal services in a cost-effective manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active and in good standing membership with the Washington State Bar Association.

• 1 to 5+ years of legal experience.

• Excellent legal writing and communication abilities.

• Capability to operate independently in a remote work setting.

• Consistent access to reliable internet and phone services.

• Dedication to professionalism, teamwork, and client representation.

• Preferred: Experience in family law within Washington State.

• Preferred: Familiarity with motions practice, mediation, collaborative law, trial preparation, or litigation.

• Preferred: Knowledge of court procedures in King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties.

• Preferred: Experience with Clio, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, Adobe, Slack, and Apple-based systems.
