Facility Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the inventory, condition evaluation, and maintenance of extensive facility campuses by managing and analyzing real property data.

• Collaborate with clients and team members to create strategies for facility repairs and maintenance.

• Perform thorough on-site visual inspections of Real Property Installed Equipment along with the related facility systems and components.

• Assess operating efficiency, capacity, and the remaining lifespan of equipment.

• Utilize proprietary software applications on computers, iPads, or tablets to enter, verify, and manage facility condition assessment data.

• Ensure the precision of data through regular updates, validations, and comprehensive reporting.

• Produce inventory condition reports and technical updates for facilities recently integrated into the client portfolio.

• Partner with both internal and external teams to achieve project objectives and timelines.

• Follow industry and company standards diligently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in trades such as Commercial Plumbing, HVAC, Structural, or Electrical Systems.

• Over two years of relevant experience.

• Prior experience in assessing commercial or government properties using computerized systems.

• Background in construction or maintenance industries.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong communication and time management skills.

• Excellent analytical and critical thinking capabilities.

• Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Must qualify for a government Position of Trust (Tier 1 level investigation).

• High school diploma is mandatory.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Must be willing and able to travel up to 60% of the year, including multi-day trips across the United States.

• Certifications in construction technologies such as NCCER, NICET, HVAC, Carpentry, OSHA 10-Hour, or BPI are preferred.
